We (finally) conclude the introduction of the Mesillat Yesharim. The Ramchal has taught us the path and steps required to grow as a human being. Practically speaking, he has taught us how to grow into an angel – though clothed in a physical body!
He tells us why, ultimately, he has written this work. Even within his words, we see his humility and approach to the very concept of teaching another.
He concludes his introduction with a prayer, asking God to help us all on this amazing life-changing journey.
We then begin the first chapter concerning a man’s duty in this world. What exactly are we here for anyway? We’ll be discussing this a lot more in the next lesson – so listen in to this lesson, and stay tuned for the next!
