We conclude the paragraph dealing with the use of God’s Names and making using of the Names of Angels to perform certain wonders.
Bottom line: One must be careful in using means which are forbidden to be used – even though they may work. One who makes use of the Crown will be held liable. Not everyone may make use of the King’s scepter. Only those who put in the effort to become close to God may merit using various magical means of performing wonders. The truth is that even so, these means are limited to occasions which create a sanctification to God’s Name and are not used only for the sake of one’s own benefit. Such behaviour will not be tolerated – and one using these means will indeed be responsible for his actions.
We move on to Paragraph 8 which explains that God has created a world of good and bad so that we can have free choice to go in the direction of good and fight the direction of bad in order to correct the world. Man is here in the world in order to combat the evil that exists in the world.
