After our introduction to the Shaarei Kedushah in the first lesson, we jumped to Chapter 3 in Rabbi Chaim Vital’s masterful work on the path to Ruach HaKodesh – Divine Inspiration.
This was done to give the viewer the opportunity to see what lies in store for one who progressively works through the entire work and in fact shares Rabbi Chaim Vital’s ultimate goal of working on oneself.

The Printers of the main edition of the Gates of Holiness did not print the fourth and final section of the work because in it the reader will find some powerful secrets to attaining Divine Inspiration. Whereas in our chapter and lesson – Rabbi Vital teaches us a safe way to enter the spiritual worlds above.
It is imperative we constantly work on ourselves to be better humans, to ourselves, to others and to God. When we do this, we become chariots for the Divine and it is ultimately this that protects us as we leave our bodies bringing an attachment of spirit to Spirit.
